Our Musical Week

We were very lucky to have three musical events that we took part in. We had our normal hip-hop session with Miss Tayla. Then we had a whole school Jump Jam session with Brett Fairweather who started Jump Jam in schools 18 years ago.  Brett wanted to provide a quality, fun and exciting kids aerobics program to schools, that will motivate our children to enjoy exercise thus promoting health and wellness with our school communities.  Finally we got to use African drums to make music with Nathan.

Duffy Role Model Assembly

We had our Duffy Role Model Assembly just before the holidays and we were then given the books that we had chosen. Ryan Bridge from Magic Talk came to talk to us about the importance of reading.

Taekwondo with Mr Doogan

Over  Term One we had been going to the school hall to do taekwondo with Mr Doogan. We looked forward to the sessions as Mr Doogan taught us the basic taekwondo moves in a very fun but effective way. Have a look at some of the self defence techniques that we learnt.
