Sorting, selecting and classifying according to attributes

We have been working on how we can group things. What should we look at? What attributes the objects have? Here are some activities that we have been doing in class to sort.

How to keep our teeth healthy

The District Nurse Abigail Moimoi gave us a talk on how important our teeth are. She shared that we must brush our teeth every morning and every night. We watched a video about how we should brush our teeth. Then Abby gave us each a toothbrush.

Gymnastics with Cain

Every Tuesday morning we go to the hall to do gymnastics. We are learning to do all sorts of things like front flips, back flips, caterpillar walk, balancing and more. Each week we will have a different focus.

Dick Weir The Great Storyteller

We were very fortunate to have Cecile's granddad Dick Weir come to share some stories with us. He made it such an awesome experience. Some of us got the chance to be the characters in the story Rata and the Totara Tree.
