Room 2's Weather Forecaster and Teacher for Reading

Eloise did an amazing job of doing our calendar every day. Lewis was our teacher for Reading. He made sure that we were all reading together during our Shared Reading. The book was called The Monsters' Party. He asked us 5W and 1H questions.

 

 

Developmental Sessions

We enjoy doing our Developmental sessions. This time it was our turn to stay in Room 2 to do Role Plays.  We are focusing on the Key Competency Managing Self. We are learning to be active listeners. Here are some of the activities that we do.

Essential Swimming Skills

 

 

 

 

We have been learning  important swimming skills this term. We have learnt how to enter the pool safely, how to breath correctly, how to float and then how to come back to a standing position how to glide across the pool. To practise the correct breathing technique, we have been using a ping pong ball to blow across the pool. We must make sure that our chin is resting on the water surface and we are blowing out through our mouths. We have even been picking up rings from the bottom of the pool.
