Support Staff Day

Today was a very special day. Waikowhai Primary School celebrated Support Staff Day to acknowledge all the wonderful things that our office staff, caretaker and teacher aides do for us. Room 5 is lucky to have Mrs Ward and Louise who help us in our class. They are amazing, very talented and really wonderful people. We are really thankful for all the wonderful support they give us in our daily learning.
Room 5 was chosen to do a special card for Mrs Ward. We decide to make a book for Mrs Ward because she loves to read. That is why she is an amazing storyteller. We wrote to tell Mrs Ward what we are thankful for and then we used some interesting adjectives to describe her. We also did some illustrations to go with our writing.

Thank you for helping us with our Reading and Maths. You are a very kind, caring and generous person.

Dear Mrs Ward, Thank you for giving out the fruits and the lunches. You are awesome.

Dear Mrs Ward,
Thank you for reading to us in the library. You are a very good storyteller.
